Who We’re Looking For

For the initial cast, we’re looking for performers with narrative experience who bring strong potential, curiosity, and commitment. Specifically, we seeking performers who are excited about:

• Narrative improv and world-building

• Genre play (film/TV/book styles, tropes, tones)

• Emotional commitment and clear points of view

• Directing scenes with clarity and playfulness

• Supporting ensemble storytelling

• Consistent rehearsal and performance commitments

Now accepting auditions for a new narrative improv ensemble at Haus of Comedy

Audition Details

📅 Date: Saturday, January 17, 2026
📍 Location: Eagle Theater (California Historical Landmark #595 921 Front St, Sacramento, CA 95814)
⏰ Audition slots: To be assigned; between 10AM - 2:30PM 
First show: April 11th, 9 PM, the Eagle Theater

SuperScene Intensive (required for performers invited to join the cast)

Selected performers will be invited into the SuperScene Intensive. The intensive is not an additional audition, rather a 4-5 hour intensive rehearsal for the new cast, just to understand the basic show structure.

Saturday, January 31 — 10:00am–2:30pm (Eagle Theater)

Rehearsal Commitment

Weekly, Tuesdays 7-9PM starting February 3
